Activation code to the IKO app
What is an activation code?
Activation code is a one-time 4-digit code, that the bank gives you during an IKO activation process. The code should be entered in the last step of an app activation.
The code provides you with safety and its purpose is to verify your phone number.
If you do not use the activation code and stay in the "passive mode" – you will have a limited access to majority of featrures e.g. you will not be able to make contactless payments, pay using BLIK code or make transfers. Only the "active mode" allows you to fully benefit from IKO app.
The activation code is not the same thing as PIN to IKO application. It is possible that you will receive an activation code that is the same as your IKO PIN – activation code is generated randomly.
How to generate IKO activation code?
During an activation process you chose “Aks for activation code”. The bank will contact you within one minute and provide you with an activation code – as it is explained here
